On this U.S. Thanksgiving Day, I am grateful to everyone who has participated in Good Fences, and for your faithful visits and comments - even those silent visits. Your friendship, your loyalty has been astounding. I wish blessings for each and every one of you.

As I announced last week, this is the last Good Fences link-in. No one has volunteered to take it over. Perhaps after the holidays someone will feel ready to host a fence photo link-up... Gosia at Looking for Identity has commented she would be willing to host, so check out her site in the future!

This next week's Good Fences link-in will be my last. I've wanted to take a blog break for a while now, but I've hung in there to keep Good Fences going. I am hopeful someone will want to take over a Fence Photo link-in. If so, leave me a comment and I'll be happy to share your blog address here so folks can find you in the future.

I've been blogging for over 6 1/2 years. Time to step back and let my on-line presence fade. Blogging has been my only social media, and I've met some of the kindest, warmest souls here. You share your talents, humor, opinions, skills, beauty, stories, joys, sorrows and hearts. It has been a true pleasure sharing your Blogland neighborhood.

Good Fences #139

A few ways to 'dress up' an entrance...

1. Erect new fencing to frame your driveway,

adding some personal adornments (wheel, horseshoe, mail slot, "Pettigrew" family name sign, wooden duck, etc.)

 2. Paint the old fencing - paint it bright!

3. Keep that bright paint idea and add some personal adornments for whatever season you're in,

 in this case, it was autumn and Halloween.

These three places are all on one road within a mile of each other.
